Yesterday I did not get done all I had planned. I did get 3 loads of wash done, dishes done, bread baked, sour dough starter started, plants moved outside and repotted a root ball I had thought was dead.
Today I had great plans! However I also had to work. I ended up staying late today because the guys we had work this weekend did not get the job done! Sales were low, and stock was left boxed in the back instead of on the shelves. How can we sell it if it’s not on the shelf??
So today when I got to my store (I am officially 2nd key BTW, which equals manager) I had a van loaded with stuff, and no place to put it!
It took me a couple hours to get the stuff they had not done finished, and then I had to dismantle the easter display, they were told to do that on Monday. I finally got my stuff mostly put up. When my relief got there I made him finish while I ran the front, he tore down all the boxes and chunked them.
I stopped at the grocery to get the stuff I needed for tonight’s Thai/Korean meal, and by the time I got home I was wiped out. Robyn, if you read this, thank you for turning me on to the youtube cooking shows!

Beloved just emailed and said he doesn’t want me to cook tonight; he wants us to go get burgers instead! That is very sweet, and in truth I do not feel like spending an hour prepping and cooking, even though I am dying to try these recipes!
I have discovered my 2 favorite blogs are Lentils and Rice and Like Merchant Ships. Robyn and Meredith are very different ladies, yet each offers me something I need to see. Robyn showcases simple living as it should be, with out a lot of unneeded stuff. While Meredith shows how to use what we have to make our homes beautiful. I also owe Robyn a debt of gratitude for bringing forth my love of cooking once again!
Hugs y’all

Yesterday I was really tired. Weekends are very busy for dh and I because that is the only time he is home so we are going to the feed store (he doesn't like me to have to haul 50lb bags), hauling round bales of hay, etc so on mondays I just feed all the critters and rest. So on tuesday I'm doing housework along with all the animal care but yesterday I was really tired and took a long nap. Now dh calls to say he's coming home for a few hours tonight since he has to make a delivery in a nearby town in the morning. I warned him I haven't finished all the housework but I'll have the major stuff done and dinner for him.
