Well today is a day the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it! Even if your toes are cold...
Temp right now out is 36. I know for my northern sisters that doesn't mean much but for us here, that is cold, early cold too. Beloved says it took him 10 minutes to defrost his windshield...
We have many boxes on our front porch waiting for CIA to come get them. CIA is Christians in Action. It is a local charity and the money stays in San Angelo. I had put some of the stuff on freecycle, but no one who responded bothered to show up. So I quit.
I even dug through my sewing patterns and whittled them down... I kept all my apron patterns and my sewing accessory patterns though, as well as several for clothes and fun stuff. Now that I am mastering cooking again I want to relearn to sew. I plan to begin on aprons, cuz I sort of know those, and work into crafts and barbie stuff. I plan to design a PH friendly line of barbie clothes eventually...
I keep hearing such disturbing news that I have decided to day to ignore it and rejoice in the Lord (and again I say REJOICE!!!!). I let my self get angry, not really fearful, just mad that the people who are supposed to stand up for me seem to be sitting down. I get that conservatives are the minority, but so was the mouse that roared! Make some noise, be the squeaky wheel, do something besides give up!
Ladies, keep praying for this country. Pray for our leaders, pray for God's will to be done.
