Hi! I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Andrea and I live in Southwest WA. I have 5 kids ages 1 through 17. My oldest is in high school, and I home school the younger kids. My husband and I feel very strongly about living simply, modestly and frugally. I look forward to getting to know you all! :-D

Welcome, Andrea! I have a SIL in WA state...and we just ordered some trees for our orchard from a tree nursery in Washington! We are in Colorado, out on the prairie. I hope you like it here, and I look forward to getting to know you! :)

WA is very beautiful, sometimes, however the rain does get to me. It rains a LOT in our area in the winter!

We do! We can and freeze, though we won't be doing much this season as we're kind of in limbo right now as to possibly leaving our area so we didn't plant a garden this year. I would love to take a class in food preservation. (And sewing too!) I know there is much more I need to learn!

I've driven up through Bremerton once, it looked like a lovely place. We are down in Chehalis and for some reason it seems like we get more rain than in other places. Though, we have had some very nice days lately.
