Some times folks just burn my toast.
Gerrie (aka Ma) was just telling me she googled PH (full name) and she came across links where folks were saying they were escapees from PH... now I am certain I never put a gun to anyone’s head or locked them into a room with nothing but PH.
she has not told me where, but I have some ideas, and I do not wish to go look because I would really be tempted to go and post something like, oh so they can control your pc from there??
Or better yet, oh, finally learned how to use the red button on the top right of EVERY web page did ya?
I mean if you like PH, then join in and enjoy, if you do not, then move on and let us go on with life.
Here is why I fight to keep PH going.
In the last ... oh 2 weeks or so I have heard from 6 women, via both pm and email, that they came to know Christ because of their time with PH.
It is for those women, and others like them that I do what I do with ph, and why the rules are set so "judgmentally" as some see them.
Here is the thing, if a new to this whole idea of Christian wife-hood woman finds, stumbles in or is otherwise led to PH, we need to be a beacon, not a dark alley. That is why I push the no gossip, and yes i have been on many "Christian" boards that do allow gossip, and husband or other family member trashing. (as well as a host of other biblically wrong issues) If a new wife stumbles on there and sees these aged (to her anyway) women doing that, she thinks its ok, and her suddenly perfect (for her needs) spouse is no longer good enough and she begins to turn on him.
Or a sister in law who needs a clear cut path finds that her brother’s sister has gone public with all her faults, and she no longer feels she can trust her, and the relationship hurts the whole family.
I know my rules (which btw are from the Bible and worked out between me and the mods) seem strict, but they are here after much study and prayer, and they do have reasons. If folks do not wish to or think they do not need to live by them, then yeah, they need to escape and not be surprised when I lock the door behind them!

lol folks have serious issues if that is the worst they can say about PH!
(tongue in cheek here cuz you know i adore you) sides, how can I teach you how wrong you are unless you are on my site???
For the record I looked Miss Maggie (hbhw) up on that 1000 bap top sites, the only neg for her is she links to me!

Maggie was looking for more boards because she has more readers than PH right now (we get 13,000 unique hits per month, she gets 1500 to 2000 per day) Ph does not agree with all her readers, so she is trying to offer the rest sites they can feel comfy on.
She has said she wants it clear her allegiance is and always will be with PH first.
I have read those posts; I am a member of a couple of the sites, though I am too busy to make my presence known there.
The things I saw said about PH did not bother me too much. The reason they didn't was because the people making the posts for the most part did not want to follow the rules. We were too strict, too judgmental.
Well I have to say it again, no we can not judge whether a person is saved or not, but we CAN judge the fruits of their lives, that is what most object to. They feel online doesn't really affect their real life. However acting differently online than in real life just makes you a false Christian, God sees both sides.
I rarely comment on things I have not looked into, at least a little bit. If the worst folks can say to me is I have a JW on my site, they need to get a life.
